“ Androgyny ”
Strength and weakness, beauty and ugliness, discipline and impulse, reason and desire, liberation and restraint, masculinity and femininity.
For the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, we interpret the state in which these opposing elements coexist within a single body as "a body existing on the boundary," and propose clothing that embodies this very tension.
Inspired by French photographer Bettina Rheims' photo book "Modern Lovers," we explore the intentional blurring of gender code boundaries, utilizing materials such as Russell lace, net tulle, crushed velour, and patent leather to create an androgynous bodily expression.
Additionally, we incorporate the Japanese concept of "shibari" (binding) into our tailoring, adopting details that evoke bondage.
Furthermore, we interpret snakeskin, a symbol of change and rebirth, as a "second skin," reflecting it in shoes, belts, bags, and gloves.
