Inspired by the costumes from "Sacred Monsters," a stage performance featuring ballet dancer Sylvie Guillem and dancer/choreographer Akram Khan, these classic wide denim pants feature a large folded front design. Since their release in 2014, they have undergone continuous refinement and are now a signature item of John Lawrence Sullivan.
The directly managed store exclusive wide trousers are a refreshed model based on these wide denim pants, with updated pocket placement and stitching to a more trouser-like specification. A watch pocket has been added to the front, balancing functional beauty with classical details. Furthermore, the width has been exaggerated, elevating them to a silhouette with even greater presence and gravitas.
This time, both men's and women's versions are made from wool gabardine, woven from fine count yarns at high density. This fabric, with its suppleness and beautiful luster, expresses a delicate balance of drape and structure.
